Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program Collaborative

The program mission is to diversify the field of conservation by providing training, mentoring, and support to undergraduate students with an interest in the environment, research, and diversity and inclusion.

Carinata - Advanced Renewables

The ARC Team is a multi-disciplinary team focused on developing Brassica carinata as a sustainable feedstock for advanced renewables including advanced jet fuel, bio-diesel, and other value added co-products as well as a high protein source for animal feed.

Watermelon Grafting

This project, which examines the effectiveness and economic feasibility of grafting as an integrated disease management tool in watermelon production, is a timely response to such needs and driven by producers’ keen interest in searching for sustainable approaches.
