The blue jay is a common bird found all over Florida. Its habitat can include almost any grassy area with trees. Blue jays can be found in hardwood and mixed woodlands - particularly those areas with oak, beech, and hickory trees.

Pine forests, farms, gardens, parks, and other urban areas can also be home to blue jays. These birds are easily attracted to bird feeders.
