Carrie Dill is an Environmental Specialist II with Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources. Her duties include assisting other land managers in the county with various projects and restoration activities on 53,000 acres of natural areas.  She started with Sarasota County in 2022 as an intern and has worked her way through the Natural Areas and Trails division in the County and has helped with integrated pest management activities and the prescribed burn team for the last 3 years. After interning she has worked on the trails team, operations team and now is on the land management team.

Carrie graduated in 2022 with a degree in conservation biology. In her free time, she enjoys exploring nature by hiking, rock climbing, scuba diving, traveling, and camping. The NATA program has helped her have a better understanding of natural areas management in Florida and has allowed her to connect with other professionals in the field.

Carrie earned her Certificate in Natural Areas Management in May 2025.
