Become an Endorsed Instructor
Anyone is welcome to apply as an endorsed instructor, and everyone is encouraged to do so, including UF/IFAS employees, independent organizations, state, county or municipal nature educators, and formal teachers. You will receive support from the state office, be listed on this website, have access to additional resources, evaluation materials, logo designation items, and official recognition of your "youth naturalists".
The first step is to complete this brief FYNP Instructor Registration. It will only take a few minutes. At the end of your registration, notify the FYNP coordinator so they can contact you with more information to proceed.
Requirements for becoming an Endorsed Instructor include:
- Completing UF youth protection training and background screening
- Completing the FYNP Instructor Orientation.
Homeschool and Classroom Teachers
Although you may or may not be interested in a listing on our website, we would still really like to know if you are using the curriculum. Applying as an Endorsed Instructor will help us document the impacts of the program and will provide you with access to the online resources, materials, and recognition mentioned above. We encourage and greatly value your feedback.
